- 1 gal water
- 8 oz. molasses
- 8 oz. sugar
- 1 oz. powdered ginger
- 1-2 oz. diced ginger
- 1 lemon
- Put in pot, boil for a few minutes.
- Strain, add yeast (brewers, champagne, barm, bread yeast is possible but not recommended).
- Cover, let sit for 12-16 hours
- Pour into sanitized storing containers.
- Store in cool location. Drink soon. Containers may break if too warm for too long
